WHAT TO EXPECT
FREE INITIAL 30 MINUTE CONSULTATION
(no charge or MD orders required) During this visit we’ll get to know each other, discuss your goals, and how you can benefit from wellness services. If you decide to start a Wellness Plan, we’ll book your first visit assessment.
Medicare only covers a limited short term benefit. My personalized, private wellness services are a not covered service by Medicare, so we are not bound by restrictive Medicare limitations. After initial intake, the 60 minute sessions are 100% active to make sure you or your loved one is staying as healthy as possible. It is all about you or your loved one engaged in meaningful safe movement! As a physical therapist, I have seen countless patients achieve success in physical therapy, only to lose their success by not continuing the ongoing effort to keep up their gains. I help make sure that you or your loved one are able to stay at home in the healthiest way possible!
I have over 30 years of experience as a physical therapist working with seniors and I individually engage with each of my clients. I will provide customized, hands-on strengthening and stretching that is fun, engaging and produces wonderful results for full body wellness and healthy longevity. Clients experience increased energy, digestion, breathing, movement, flexibility; as well as improved balance. They are better able to enjoy their lives in their own home. In addition, their long term ability to maintain their mobility is a huge benefit to their caregivers.
FIRST VISIT ASSESSMENT. We will start with an initial 60-minute assessment:
• Discuss your past medical history
• Assess your current flexibility, strength and balance
• Measure your heart and breathing rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
• Understand your limitations
• Establish your wellness goals
• Answer any questions

- Improve and maintain of flexibility and strength. for activities of daily living and recreation
- Improved balance to reduce risk of falls and to walk on uneven terrain

- Decreased discomfort from debilitating conditions like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s/dementia. (Even with severe loss of memory or cognition, people can still significantly benefit from exercise.)
